At the Institute for Molecular Science in Okazaki, Aichi, we are working in close collaboration with the Ohmori group to develop fundamental technologies and systems for a neutral-atom quantum computer. Through the development and operation of a full-stack quantum computer (scheduled to be operational by the end of 2025) with Ohmori group, we will create an integrated quantum computer system.
Kyoto University is located in Kyoto’s Sakyo Ward, a historic and culturally rich area surrounded by natural landmarks such as the Kamo River and Mt. Daimonji. The region is known for its vibrant student life and unique cultural atmosphere. Under a free and open academic environment that values fundamental research, cutting-edge studies on quantum computers using laser-cooled neutral atoms are actively pursued.
