Yuma Nakamura
Since 2019, he has been conducting research on quantum computers based on laser-cooled neutral atoms at Kyoto University. He has consistently led experimental projects in collaboration with some of Japan’s top researchers and earned his Ph.D. in 2025.
He possesses world-class expertise in foundational technologies for quantum computing using laser-cooled ytterbium atoms. At Yaqumo, he serves as CTO, responsible for formulating technical strategies and driving research and development.
